VANISHING COIN (Gimmicks and Instructions) by Apprentice Magic

Effect:

You ask to borrow a coin from a friend or audience member, then you cover the coin with a handkerchief or napkin and ask your audience member to hold on to it. Next, you display a small cup, just large enough for the coin to fit into. Then ask your audience member to drop the coin into the cup. Finally, you ask then to whisk away the handkerchief only to find the coin has completely vanished!
