This is probably one of Dr. Schwartz's best rising card effects. No external devices to add or remove, so you start clean and end clean. The 3 freely chosen cards rise from the center of the deck under your control.

No electronics, elastics, strings, magnets or weights. No angles to worry about, so you can perform surrounded. No forcing or controlling cards, so you can concentrate on your presentation. That's why it's called EZ Rising Cards.

Three freely chosen cards are placed back into the deck and deck is placed into an examined wooden Houlette. You walk away from the Houlette and the card rises.
