Transparent finger chopper

A miniature clear plastic guillotine. The effect is simple, but it has a strong impact.

Show that the chopper cleanly cuts anything you put through both holes. A small carrot or sausage is perfect for this. Then ask a spectator to insert their forefinger. Bring the blade down quickly and, of course, the finger remains unharmed. It looks as if the blade has passed right through the finger.
