A shuffled deck of numbered cards is laid out in a row, divided into four piles. The audience member selects one pile and adds up the numbers on the cards. The sum identifies the supernatural entity secretly controlling them. The audience will always get 666 - Satan's number! The magician doubts the audience is controlled by Satan and repeats the procedure, still resulting in 666. On the third attempt, the audience member shuffles the cards again and deals them into four piles before selecting one pile to sum up. Once more, the result will be 666!
