The artist presents a large envelope containing a prediction. The magician allows the audience to pick a card from a deck. He proclaims that his prediction has come true, as the envelope contains a framed piece of transparent plastic with all cards printed on one side and their backs on the other.
"Of course," says the magician, "let's take it a step further." The audience is asked to find their chosen card in the image. You hold their hand over the frame, encouraging them to focus on their selected card. When they remove their hand, one card has turned face-upchosen by the audience!
Flip the frame to reveal the value of the audience's card.
Believe it or not, you can immediately pass the framed piece to the audience for inspection.
