CARD STICKER

A simplified version of the Card Stick without using expensive props. The magician allows a spectator to pick and display one card from the deck, then places it back into the deck. He takes a large card from his pocket or table, claiming he knew which card would be chosen beforehand and had it prepared. When showing the value of the selected card, the spectator disagrees (and will likely enjoy seeing the magician fail). The chosen card turns out to be different. However, the magician has one more chance: he looks around at the audience and spots someone chewing a piece of gum, asks for a loan, and sticks it onto the corner of the large card (if the spectator wants to return the card later, they can give him the gum?). Next, the magician hands the deck to the spectator so they can throw the cards into the air. As the cards fly through the air, the magician waves the large card over them, and the piece of gum on the card sticks a selected card from the thrown ones. This is precisely the card the spectator chose at the beginning.
