Here's what happens. The entertainer shows a spectator a shuffled deck of cards. The performer divides the deck of cards into four stacks. The performer moves three cards from the TOP of each stack to the BOTTOM of each stack.

The entertainer also moves cards from one stack to another stack.

The four stacks are brought together. The performer explains that he will deal two hands of cards for a game of poker. The cards are dealt.
