The perfect ESP effect for couples!

A volunteer cuts a few cards from a shuffled ESP deck and hands over the remaining cards to the performer.

The performer deals 5 Cards onto the table. The volunteer then takes the top card, remembers it, inserts it back into the stack & it is then placed inside an envelope. All this is done as the performer is turned away.

The 2nd volunteer selects a number between 5 & 10 and that many cards are dealt onto the table. All of the cards are eliminated in a systematic way until only one card is left.

Without peeking inside the envelope, the performer takes out the 1st volunteer's card and it is correct.

Now he turns over the 2nd volunteer's card and to the surprise of everybody, it matches the 1st volunteer's selection.

It is a wonderful kicker ending especially when you perform it for a couple!
