A magician pulls a yellow rubber band and tears off a part of it, forming a small circular rubber band. The remaining yellow rubber band looks like a cookie with a bite taken out of it, creating a crescent-shaped rubber band. Everything can be examined! Then, the magician takes out a red rubber band, retrieves the yellow mini circular rubber band from the audience, and drops it onto the red rubber band. The yellow and red rubber bands fuse together, forming a complete two-colored rubber band.

You can also perform the crescent rubber band effect separately after other rubber band magic tricks. Jokingly say to the audience, "I originally wanted to give you a whole rubber band as a souvenir, but maybe you think it's too valuable. How about I just give you a part of it instead?"
