The magician proves this by placing the deck on top of the table, and a sound is heard. The magician shows that the spectator's signed card has traveled under the table!

In a second phase, the signed card is placed in the deck, and the deck is placed in its box. The magician places his hand on top of the box, presses down, and squishes the box - the cards have vanished! They are found underneath the table! However, ONE card is still in the box - the spectator's signed selection.
