A mixed deck is shuffled and divided into three small packs. Three drinking glasses are shown, and a pack is placed into each of the three glasses. With each glass, the magician moves cards from the front to the back of the pack until the spectator says, "stop."

After revealing the cards now at the front of each pack, the magician shows a previously-written prediction of the exact three randomly-chosen cards. Not only do they match perfectly, but they are also in the same order as the cards written in the prediction!
