Cups & Balls ist das älteste und berühmteste Trick in der Magie. Der Performer zeigt drei Tassen als leer an, stellt sie auf den Tisch und gibt einer Tasse mit seinem Zauberstab einen Tritt, um eine kleine Kugel unter ihr zu finden. Die Kugel verschwindet nur, um sich unter einer anderen Tasse wieder zu zeigen! Die Kugel wird unter der Tasse platziert, aber ein magischer „Tritt“ verursacht ihren Verschwinden und Erscheinen unter einer völlig anderen Tasse. Eine weitere Kugel wird entdeckt und verschwindet, dann noch eine. Bei dem Aufheben der letzten Tasse finden sich alle drei Kugeln unter ihr. Schließlich werden die Tassen aufgelegt, um einen Zwiebeln, ein Limetten und eine Kartoffel zu finden! Viele Variationen von Routinen sind möglich und verfügbar in Standardbüchern über Magie. Die Tassen haben etwa den Mund, 3 Zoll; Boden, 1 ½ Zoll; Höhe, 3 ¼ Zoll - die richtige Größe für einfache und effiziente Handhabung, und eine konkave Bodenseite, um Kugeln zu halten.

The Cups & Balls is the oldest and most famous trick in magic. The performer shows three cups to be empty, and places them on the table. Giving one cup a tap with his wand he lifts it to find a small ball underneath.The ball is vanished only to re-appear under another cup! The ball is replaced under the cup, but a magic "tap" causes it to vanish and appear under a totally different cup. Another ball is discovered and vanished and then another. On lifting the last cup all three balls are found beneath it. Finally the cups are lifted to find an onion, lemon and potato beneath the cups! Many variations of routines are possible and available in standard books on magic. The cups are (approx.) mouth, 3 inch; bottom, 1 1/2 inch; height, 3 ¼ inch - The right size for easy and efficient handling, and concave bottom to hold balls.
