Dies ist ein kleines, aber sehr überraschendes Trick. Der Darsteller zeigt eine Metalltubenumhüllte Plastikkugel und einen kleinen Stahlkern. Die Tube hat eine Öffnung, die von einer Seite zur anderen führt. Das Kugelschreiberstift wird durch diese Öffnung getrieben, sodass es das Innere der Tube blockiert. Der Zuschauer erhält die Kugel und wird gebeten, sie in die Tube zu werfen. Natürlich bleibt sie im Mittelpunkt der Tube stecken, da das Stift den Weg versperrt. Der Darsteller 'gibt' die Kugel aus der Hand und spricht über die Unmöglichkeit der Kugel durch die tube zu fallen, wenn das Stift den Weg blockiert.

Nun macht er einige mysteriöse Gesten und legt die Kugel offenbar direkt aufs Oberteil der Tube. Überraschend fällt sie aus dem unteren Teil der Tube heraus, als hätte sie durch das solide Stift getroffen. Wenn der Darsteller es möchte, kann er den Trick sofort wiederholen.

This is a nice little trick which is very surprising to watch and there seems to be no way to make it happen.

EFFECT: The performer shows a metal tube, a plastic pen and a tiny little steel ball. The tube has a hole which passes fromone side to another. The pen is pushed thru the hole so that it passes right thru the tube blocking the interior of the tube.The spectator is given the ball and asked to drop it into the tube. Quite naturally, it gets struck in the middle of the tubebecause the pen causes an obstruction. The performer 'pours' out the ball and talks about the impossibility of the ball todrop thru the tube when the pen is blocking the way.

Now, he makes some mysterious gestures and very openly drops the ball thru the top of the tube. Surprisingly, it drops outfrom the bottom of the tube, apparently passing thru the solid pen. If the performer wants, he can repeat the performanceimmediately.

Finally, everything is passed on to the spectators for examination.
