• Doppelhundertwette: Zwei Zuschauer schauen sich Bilder von verschiedenen Tieren an. Ohne dass sie etwas sagen und ohne jede Kraft, sagst du ihnen, was das Tier ist, das sie denken. Keine Handtechnik nötig. Anderer als der Methode, macht es auf der Bühne so gut, weil es routiniert wird. Es beginnt komisch, zeigt komische Tiere, die schwer zu identifizieren sind, und wechselt dann glatt in einen verblüffenden magischen Höhepunkt.

• Niagaraselektion: Ein ausgewähltes Karten ist im Deck verloren. Ein Glas wird mit Wasser gefüllt und umgedreht. Das Wasser fällt nicht über. Du wendest den Rücken zu dem Zuschauer, der beginnt, die Karten still durchzugehen. Obwohl du den Zuschauer nicht sehen kannst, fällt das Wasser genau in dem Moment, in dem er seine Auswahl macht. Fast jeder präsentiert den hydrostatischen Glas genauso. In meiner Meinung ist Niagaraselektion ein großer Schritt vorwärts.

• Die einfachste $1 Weihnachtsproduktion: Ein Weihnachtsgast will, dass du „den Weihnachtsmann magisch erscheinen lässt?“ Willst du nicht den Weihnachtsmann „für 30 Minuten irgendwo versteckt“ haben, damit es passiert? Dieser Ansatz löst das Problem in einer einfachen, kostengünstigen und theatralischen Weise.

Double Dog Dare: Two spectators look at pictures of several dozen different animals. Without them saying a word and without any forces, you tell them what animal they are thinking of. No sleight of hand needed. Other than the method, what makes this work so well on stage is the routining. It begins comically, showing comical animal drawing that are hard to identify, then segues smoothly into a baffling magic climax.

Niagara Selection: A selected card is lost in the deck. A glass is filled with water and inverted. The water does not spill. You turn your back to the volunteer and he starts silently going through the cards. Even though you can't see the volunteer, the water spills at the exact moment he reaches his selection. Nearly every one and their mother presents the hydrostatic glass the same way. In my opinion, Niagara Selection is a big step forward.
