Das erste und ursprüngliche englische Buch, das Material zum Thema Magischer Kleidungswechsel beinhaltet, wurde 1911/1912 von Will Goldston veröffentlicht. In „The Magicians Annual“ erschien sein erstes Werk im Jahr 1911, und in „Exclusive Magical Secrets“ im Jahr 1912, wo er fünf verschiedene Schnellwechselmethoden basierend auf einem Trennschweiß mit Klappe beschreibt. In den letzten Jahrhunderten wurden mehr als zehn englische Bücher und Broschüren über Schnellwechsel veröffentlicht. Das deutsche Buch „Schnellwechsel“ (2003) war die intensivste Veröffentlichung bislang, umfassend 80 Seiten mit fünf bewährten Methoden der Verschluss- und Öffnungstechniken.

Der Benutzer wird in 22 Sequenzen trainiert, um Kleidungswechsel zu bewältigen. Die Kombination dieser Sequenzen führt zu sehr schnellen vollständigen Kleidungswechseln. Es gibt mehrere hundert Kombinationsmöglichkeiten für Schnellwechselmethoden.

Zusätzlich wird ein vielfach durchgeführter Kleidungswechsel mit sechs Kostümen von der Vorbereitung bis zum Durchführen präsentiert, wobei eine Reihe von 48 Fotos verwendet wird. Dieses umfassende Buch enthält auch Effekte, die verschiedene Methoden beinhalten und von Magikern aller Genres eingesetzt werden können, einschließlich Close-Up: Der Farbwechselnde Krawatte, mehrfarbige Farbwechselnde Bortenkrawatte, der Farbwechselnde Hemdshirt, der Farbwechselnde Ärmel und das erscheinende Farbwechselnde Kleidungsstück.

The FIRST and ORIGINAL English books to contain material on magic costume changes ever published in the WORLD were written in 1911/1912 by Will Goldston. In 1911 he published "The Magicians Annual" and in 1912 in "Exclusive Magical Secrets" in which 5 different Quick Change methods based on one tear away seam: The hook and eye fastener. In the last century Quick Changes have been described in more than 10 English books and pamphlets. The German book "Quick change" (published in 2003) was the most intensive publication to date and contained on 80 pages 5 different tried and tested methods of fastenings - methods for holding the materials closed, and ways to open them, the so-called "tear-away"seams. Well known Russian quick change artists termed one of the 5 methods of fastening as a "revolution". For example: If you use press studs and Velcro, you have two methods of fastening.

In the new English book "Quick Change" 15 different methods of fastening are described, the so-called "Top Secret High Tech" hard cores.
