From a face up fan of cards a spectator is asked to name ANY card they like. They can even change their mind! Once they settle on one card (four of hearts, for example) it is removed from the deck and given to them.

There is NOTHING written on the backs of any other cards, the magician shows every card, but when the spectator turns their card over, written on the back in bold Sharpie is I KNEW YOU WOULD CHOOSE THE FOUR OF HEARTS!
