Box'ing ist ein Prinzip, das es uns ermöglicht, die Auswahl eines Zuschauers mit einem Kartenboxen zu enthüllen.
\nWirkung: Du zeigst eine leere Kartenbox und einen Kartendeckel. Beide gibst du dem Zuschauer. Er wählt ein Kartenstück aus und vergräbt es wieder in das Deck. Jetzt sagst du, dass du ihr Kartenstück mit der Kartenbox finden wirst. Du nimmst die Box und schüttelst sie. Sie hören nichts. Dann sanft auf die Box klopfst du, und plötzlich wird ein Rasseln laut, was darauf hindeutet, dass etwas in der Box ist. Jetzt öffnet der Zuschauer die Box und findet einen Kanten eines Kartenstückes darin. Der Zuschauer nimmt sein ausgewähltes Kartenstück aus dem Deck, das einen fehlenden Kanten hat, der mit dem Stück in der Box übereinstimmt. Du kannst auch eine Penetrationstrick durchführen, indem du einen Kanten von ihrem Kartenstück abreibst und es in die Kartenbox steckst.
\nKeine Helferlein, alles überprüfbar, die Box ist komplett leer, der Zuschauer hält die Box den ganzen Zeit.

Box'ing is a principle that allows us to reveal a spectator's selection using a card box.

Effect:
You show an empty card box and a deck of cards and hand them both to a spectator. They select a card and bury it back into the deck. Now you say that you are going to find their card using the card box. You then take the box and shake it. They hear nothing. Now you slowly tap the box on the deck and gradually a rattling sound is heard from silence which suggests that something appeared inside. Now they open the box and find a corner of a card there. Now the spectator removes their selected card from the deck and it has a corner missing which matches the piece from the box. You can also do a penetration effect where you rip off a corner from a spectator's card to penetrate the card box.
