Introducing The Twin Discovery by Fabien Delvoye & Merlin Magie Productions
Cards are fascinating, because they never truly obey... except sometimes.
I'm going to ask you to choose a card-freely.
Look at it, remember it... it's unique, there's not another like it in the deck.
Now put it back in the pack, lose it completely.
I shuffle, again and again...
At this point, no one-not even you-can know where it is.
And yet... some cards refuse to stay lost.
They have some kind of instinct.
Watch... one card begins to stand out...
And it's exactly yours.
But we're going to go further.
This time, we'll create disorder.
Some cards face up, others face down.
No logic left, no possible trick.
I barely touch the deck now.
I only ask you for one thing:
Give me a number. Any number.
That number represents a choice, a decision.
We count together... slowly...
And at the number you chose...
The only card that could have been there...
Was yours again.
As if, from the very beginning, it knew exactly where to go.
